About Our Chapter

AZ Alpha Chapter
The Arizona Alpha Chapter was colonized on the University of Arizona campus in 1917 and since then has worked hard toward upholding our six core values: integrity, lifelong commitment, philanthropic service to others, personal and intellectual growth, honor and respect, and sincere friendship. Lat year was our 100th year at the University of Arizona and we were so excited to celebrate the last 100 years and plan for the next 100 years. Nationally, Pi Beta Phi is also celebrating our 150th year as a Fraternity for Women. The international celebration has already started with the reminiscing over the last 150 years of memories and sisterhood.

Academics
We truly value academics and learning here at Pi Beta Phi. We believe that it is our responsibility to provide an environment that strongly encourages each member to reach her highest academic potential. We currently have an average GPA of 3.3 and received the Academic Improvement Recognition Award last school year. We are above the all-women’s average at the U of A with 135 members on the Dean's list and are ranked third in academic excellence amongst all sororities.
